Faith Nursery School Faith Nursery School is a licensed Christian pre-school for children ages 3-5. It is a ministry of Faith Presbyterian Church welcoming children of all backgounds. The school is licensed and approved by The Rhode Island Department of Education, accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Our program is designed with the idea in mind that each child is a creation of God, with special abilities,
characteristics and needs.The primary goal of Faith Nursery School is to foster in each child a postive self image. Each day the children enjoy opportunites, which can contribute to postive feelings of self- worth,
art expression, problem solving, learning new skills, and learning to be independent are among some of the strongest features of our school.
Faith Nursery School is committed to the education of the whole child. The program is designed to encourage development in areas of cognitive, physcial, social-emotional and spiritual growth. Faith Nursery School strives to provide a rich environment that encourages exploration and challenges children at whatever stage of development he or she are working through.
Faith Nursery School is a gentle step between home and the outside world. In a relaxed atmosphere, the child is nurtured and encourged to create,
explore, discover and experiment. It is a comfortable, happy place where young children can learn to get along with others, develop independence
and recognize their own feelings. Thus, we feel it provides a foundation to a successful beginning school experience.
